Luc Granger
A short profile of Luc Granger, wealth psychologist, Partner at Fair/e, by Ludovic Roubaudi, novelist.
Who never dreamt of one day becoming rich? Wished for life to become one endless holiday? Yearned be free from the end of the month worries, and to be able to surrender to all their desires? You, me..? Everybody has had this dream. Except perhaps Luc Granger, Intuitae’s Founder and Partner.
“Today’s fiscal and economic environments do not favor income. And those who don’t manage their legacy as a company boss would do, those people who don’t consider their assets to be turnover requiring daily attention, risk losing it all. And therein lies the difficulty of our business: beyond the technical competencies of the wealth management world and the financial-fiscal ties that we must master, we also have to be astute psychologists in order to help our clients better understand that their interests don’t always match their desires.”
Pragmatic and jargon-free, Luc Granger twists the twin taps of cold showers and hope. “The financial crisis has made the market more complex, more difficult to understand and so the decision making process must be faster than ever, which also increases the risk of error. At the same time, it forces us to be more creative with a greater openness vis-a-vis the world and the opportunities that it presents. If, for example, there aren’t any good reasons to invest in French real estate, opportunities in Europe and further afield abound. We must widen our field of investigation and analyse media from all nations to better advise our clients.”
